Quick Overview of Lead Generation

CrazyCall Lead Generation is an easy-to-use tool that lets you gather leads directly from your website, and allows your visitors to request a callback to quickly get in touch with you.

In this article, we’ll quickly walk you through the key features of our lead generation widget, which are currently available.

Get started with your first Callback widget

Let’s begin with adding CrazyCall Callback widget to your website! When you open the Lead Generation Tab for the first time, we’ll ask you to provide a web address where just in a few minutes you can start collecting your leads.

Once you’ve entered a website, simply click Generate and move further. 

To install a Callback widget, copy the whole thing you see in the box and paste this piece of code onto each webpage you want to display the widget.

To see whether the installation went smoothly and the widget get properly activated, click Check Installation. If for some reason, it doesn’t appear on your website, make sure you place the code before the </body> tag.

Then you should choose where you will manage your callback requests and store your leads in the future. You can either select the CrazyCall project, or forward your leads to the to 3rd-party tools you already use via webhooks.

And one more thing! We strongly recommend you not to show the widget live on your website until you haven’t fully customized it. Just toggle the option “Display widget on the website” off and jump here back once you play around with our Creator.

Customize your widget in visual creator

Under the Creator tab, you can customize the appearance of your lead generation box, bubble and Thank You page.

Here you can specify whether your widget will have a header, change the widget’s theme colour and the default text, choose the font and set its size. You can also craft the Thank You message, change the default button text “CALL ME NOW” and other content-related elements.  

If you need more extended design possibilities, feel free to navigate to the Advanced Settings and add your own custom CSS.

What’s more, on the right-hand side you have a Preview mode, where you can see your widget when installed and activated on the real website.

Once you’re satisfied with the text and visual appearance, click Save.

Finally: Display!

Now all that remains is activating your widget on the website. To do this, just use the “Display widget on the website” toggle, which you have already seen under the Settings tab.

Monitors callback requests through performance dashboard

Our simple dashboard provides key information about the activity on your widget, including:

• Clicked - the number of clicks on the widget bubble;
• Leads - the number of people who have requested a callback and left their phone numbers;
• Contacted (leads) - the number of callbacks made;
• Successes - the number of callbacks marked with a Success status.

By default you see all activity. With just one click you can view results for the current date or easily filter stats by selecting a time period of “Last month” and “Last week”.

We’ll continue to develop our Lead Generation widget by adding new features and changing the existing details. That means that we don’t regard it as the final version. That’s more to come!
