What are tags?
Tags help you to organize and categorize your records. They give you an opportunity to describe a record in a word or two. Thanks to that you will have in-depth analysis of your database. You will be able to compare which database provider is better, are women better target than men and many more. That’s not all. Additionally you will be able to create calling rules, where you can specify which agents should call which records and set priorities for them.
In CrazyCall we have two types of tags - record's tags and agent's tags. Records' tags are unique in terms of one campaign. On the other hand agents' tags are unique in a whole account.
To create a record's tag you need to go to "Tags" tab in a campaign. You will have two possibilities there. On the left hand side you will be able to set calling rules and on the right side you will be able to create tags and group them. To create a tag you need to create a New group or use existing one called "Others". When clicked it will roll out and you will have a possibility to create a new tag. It is very important because you can only use tags you’ve created.
Agent's tags can be created in Staff section, under "Users tags" tab. To create one you need to create a New group or use "Unassigned tags" group. When you click a group, it will roll out and you will be able to create a new tag.
Adding tag to records
Once we created some tags we can now add them to our records. You can tag a record in two ways:
1. During import - you are able to tag all records in the import with one or more tags. When you selected a file to import you should have an option "Choose tags to be attached to imported records" option. You can tag records with any number of tags you want, but remember it has to be tags you created previously. Additionally it will tag all records in this import identically.
2. Manually in "Records" tab - you can filter selected records and tag them with any numbers of tags. To filter records you can use our basic or advance search engine. Once you’ve done it you need to select them all in the upper left corner and from the green „Action” button pick „Attach tags”. This screen will come up:
You can pick what tags you want to use. Just like above you can only use tags previously created. If you want to remove tags you can follow the same steps, but instead of „Attach tags” you need to pick "Detach tags".
Adding tag to an agent
Tagging an agent is simple. It’s very similar to records tagging. To do that pick "Staff" tab from the menu on the left and go to "Users" tab. You need to filter agents you want to tag, select them all in the upper left corner and from the action button on the right choose "Attach tag".
Once you have tag your records and agents you can get better view on your results. You can also create calling rules, which will help you to direct proper records to proper agents. If you want see how to do it, please follow to this article.
