Conference call feature allows you to talk to two different people and hear each other simultaneously.
You can add a third person to the existing conversation directly from the call panel.
To do that, you need to dial the first contact. After the call is answered and the conversation starts, you’ll see a toolbar at the bottom with the “Conference call” button on it.
Once you click it, you’ll be asked to enter a number of another person and an accompanying note. Press the “Call” button to start dialing the second number.
Note: the first caller will remain on hold until both calls are merged.
When you reach the second caller, you will be able to speak privately without the first party hearing what are you talking about. This lets you bring the second caller up to speed on the discussed case. When all details are agreed upon, press the “Merge calls” button to connect both of them and start a conference call.
If the second caller doesn’t take a call, the system automatically brings you back to the first caller. You can also finish the connection on your own without waiting for the call to be picked up by pressing the “Hang up conference call” button. This action will restore the connection with the first party.
The conference call ends when the call initiator - i.e. you - hangs up.
