CrazyCall lets you easily invite users to your account, so you can build your team in no time. There are three different user roles you can choose from: agent, admin, owner. Depending on which one you choose, your team members will have different access rights and permissions. Here’s how to understand these roles, so you can make the right choices.
User roles in CrazyCall
When you add users in the Users section in the main menu, you get the following choice:
-
Agent
Agent role can be assigned to users whose main task is to make and receive calls from leads and customers. In addition to ‘Call Panel’ they can also access the ‘Contacts’ tab and view your daily dashboard to stay on top of the overall calling performance.
Agents can be invited by Owners and Admins in the ‘Users’ tab. There’s no limit on the number of Agents you can add to your account.
-
Admin
Apart from all permissions included in the Agent role, Admin can invite new users and manage existing ones, add and remove projects, access dashboards, generate reports, create call scripts, change settings and more.
In other words, Admin role comes with an access to broad range of settings to effectively manage projects and agents work. However, Admins don’t have access to the Billing tab, which includes all your plan and spending details.
There's no limit to the number of users who can have the Admin role.
-
Owner
Owner is the most important role in our app. It’s by default assigned to the user who creates the account. Owner has a complete access to all areas of the app, including the ‘Billing’ tab and My Account section. This person is therefore responsible for managing and updating subscription details, as well as making payments.
There must be at least one Owner within CrazyCall account.
-
Calling Agent
Calling Agent has access only to the dashboard and calling tools. His role is limited and is only for calling.
Calling Agent can be invited by Owners and Admins in the ‘Users’ tab. There’s no limit on the number of Agents you can add to your account.
How to assign and change user roles
When inviting a user to join your account, you need to insert an email address of that person and choose a role for him or her at the same time. If you need to update permissions for a specific user at a later stage, go to the ‘Users’ tab and select name of a person whose details you want to modify. You can easily change his or her role using the dropdown menu. From this tab, you can also deactivate users using the status toggle.
Users and your monthly costs
Each person assigned a role is counted as a user in CrazyCall. When calculating the total cost of your subscription, we sum up all active users having access to the account as we charge you per user per month.
Please note that if you want to reduce your monthly fee by limiting the number of active users, you first need to deactivate their accounts - this can be done in the ‘Users’ tab in the main menu. Once this step is done, you’ll be able to decrease the number of users which will reduce your monthly cost.
