From this point on, there is no need to use other solutions to organize conference calls - now CrazyCall makes it possible to add a third person to the existing conversation directly from the call panel - to set up a conference call.
To do that, you first need to dial the number of the first person, like you did many times before. After the caller picks up the phone and the conversation starts, you will find a yellow bar at the bottom of the call panel with the “Conference call” option added.
If you press this button, you will be able to dial a number of another person and enter an accompanying note. Once you press the “Call” button, the system will start dialing the number, thus putting the first caller on hold. Note: the first caller will remain on hold until both calls are merged.
When you reach the second caller, you will be able to speak privately without the first party hearing what are you talking about. This lets you bring the second caller up to speed on the discussed case. When all details are agreed upon, press the “Merge calls” button to connect both of them and start a conference call.
If the second caller doesn’t take a call, the system automatically brings you back to the first caller. You can also finish the connection on your own without waiting for the call to be picked up. To do it simply press the red “Hang up conference call” button. This will restore the connection with the first party and return to the previously suspended conversation.
The conference call ends when the call initiator - i.e. you - hangs up.
